Noreen Duffy is an academic, teacher, translator, poet, and writer living in Spokane, Washington. In 2019, they earned an MA in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from Greensboro College. Additionally, they hold a certificate in Spanish/English Translation from the University of Massachusetts-Boston in 2017, a TESOL certification from North Carolina State University in 2013, and an undergraduate degree in Latin American Studies from The Evergreen State College in 2010. Noreen has worked domestically and internationally as a teacher and translator.
When not involved with education, Noreen enjoys knitting, spinning and other assorted crafts. They sing in a local choir and play the upright bass. They are an avid reader of fantasy and science fiction and hope to one day visit the set of Lord of the Rings in New Zealand.
